Sugar Skull Urn

The sugar skull finds its original meaning in commemoration of a deceased person. The shape, curls and hearts give the sugar skull a rich, graceful appearance. The base is, as it were, a box of coated steel, which offers space for cremation ashes. This space is also suitable as a souvenir box where you can put items such as a piece of jewelry, a tuft of hair, a note, a piece of fabric. On the base there is enough space for a photo, tea light, vase etc. In short ... a beautiful work of art with beautiful symbolism to commemorate your loved one in a personal way.

The sugar skull originated in Mexico. These are decorated skulls that are made for the day of the dead (Dia de Los Muertos). Death is part of life and the deceased may be extensively commemorated and honored. No silent tears but a celebration, because the deceased person has brought so much beauty to life.

The Rose and the hearts in the sugar skull represent love and connection. The marigold symbolizes commemoration and honor.

Material

Our urns are made entirely of 2 mm steel. The steel is then powder coated. * Standard. Special RAL colors are available on request.

* Powder coating is an electrostatic painting process that uses compressed air to spray negatively charged powder onto a positively charged workpiece. This causes the powder to stick temporarily, after which it is melted in an oven.

Manual closing urn

The top and bottom part of the foot, intended as an axle space, are supplied loose. Please do not close it until after filling. Remove the sealing caps (glued on the inside) and place the ash bag in the bottom part. Places the top part, with object, over the bottom part. Press in the closing caps on both sides. Press the pin until it fits nicely.

Cleaning

Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not sand
